What started as a simple idea - to make delicious, trusted fried chicken accessible - has grown into a rising brand known for its freshness, quality, and signature crunch. Meet the Founders
Crunchos was founded in 2024 by Muhummed and Khadija Moolla.
As a family dedicated to halaal integrity, they often struggled to find local fried chicken they could fully trust. Many trips were made to Durban just to enjoy a meal with peace of mind. Instead of depending on outside outlets, they chose to create something better - a halaal-trusted brand built on honesty, quality, and consistency.
What began with home experimentation, spice testing, and recipe perfection quickly grew into a passion shared by friends, neighbours, and customers. Today, Muhumed and Khadija continue to oversee the Crunchos experience, ensuring quality remains at the heart of everything we serve.
